Our healthcare model at Hansa Medical Groupe is designed to provide each patient with increased confidence in their medical care.  The patient/physician relationship, and “the gold standard” for patient convenience and low patient/doctor ratio. 

1. Patient confidence. Patients’ medical problems are increasingly more complex. Disease symptoms & side effects of treatments are often a daily stress for patients. With our plan, members and physicans are partners in each patient’s medical care. Patients must be confident that their concerns will be addressed as they occur. No office staff or answering services to deal with. Whenever necessary, members are able to communicate directly with their doctor by phone, email or text messaging and have their concerns addressed immediately. Also, ever Hansa member has the reassurance of knowing, they can actually be seen on short notice.

2. The patient/physician relationship. Currently in the United States, most physicians are under great pressure to see a large number of patients on any given day. The actual time spent face to face with patients in a typical medical practice is, today, often but a few minutes. Rarely can a physician truly get to know a patient in those few minutes. At Hansa Medical Groupe, we believe a physicians’ in-depth knowledge of a patient, enhances the quality of medical care they can provide. Home visits allow for the time, and provide the environment for this type of relationship to develop.  We strive to communicate with patients and their families, with the help of senior community staff, but also providing our mobile phone numbers out to patients.

3. A new standard of convenience. Obtaining medical care from a typical medical practice, is often a hassle. First, physician availability is often limited. In addition, your own schedule may conflict with this limited availability. Second, the medical condition of many patients may complicate their ability to keep their outside physician appointments. Finally, Chicago weather often results in many missed appointments. Hansa Medical Groupe has eliminated all of these inconveniences. Our physicians come to your senior community and provide on-site medical care, either in a clinic setting or even a visit in your apartment or condominium.

4. The patient/doctor ratio. We are very proud of our low patient/doctor ratio. We believe medical practices should be rated by their patient/doctor ratios, just as schools are ranked by their student/teacher ratios, A low patient/doctor ratio affords our patients greater confidence in their medical care. Most physicians have, literally, thousands of patients in their practices. This impedes their ability to. provide adequate attention to detail. With our lower ratios, the attention we can devote to detail, service, and convenience is greatly enhanced.. On average our physicians manage only a few hundred patients.
